Amber Kilgore is a native Austin creative with a BFA in Dance from The University of Texas at Austin. She has worked with Denise Vale (Martha Graham Dance Company), Thaddeus Davis (Wideman/Davis Dance), Monica Bill Barnes (Monica Bill Barnes and Company), Spectrum Dance Theatre, Domingo Estrada (Mark Morris Dance Group), Patricia Lent and Jane Freebury (Merce Cunningham Trust), and Sidra Bell (Sidra Bell Dance New York). Amber has taught young dancers creative movement and choreography along with classic dance forms. During the week, she plans and decorates for events as a Resident Programs Assistant with Brookdale Senior Living. She currently teachers dance to with seniors with Alzheimer’s disease to create movement phrases and works with Dance Waterloo as a dancer, choreographer, and Community Engagement Coordinator.
